Whilst in the US Nick made a strong bond with Australian artists and produced four No. 1 albums for Powderfinger which ensured they were one of the most successful Australian rock bands in Australian history.  Since moving to Australia and Studios 301, he has worked on a number of artists including the ARIA Award winning No. 1 album from Karnivool “Asymmetry” and more recently, took Kasey Chambers back to her alt-country roots with Bittersweet that just got 4 ½ stars in The Australian and won 2014 ARIA Best Country Album.

He worked with post-rock outfit sleepmakeswaves which Richard Kingsmill recently premiered on his July 2014 show.  The band said of the recording  “We got to make the record of our dreams in the way we wanted”, DiDia also mixed Bonjah’s new single “Evolution” with it’s ‘raw power, falsetto brilliance and sees Bonjah exploring their musical pallet sonically’ Tone Deaf.

Last year Bruce Springsteen popped into the studio to work with Nick DiDia as they had a history of working together in the US.  Whilst in Australia, Springsteen recorded the first two singles from his recent album High Hopes that went No. 1 in 18 countries.  Nick’s work collectively has resulted in over 35 million record sales and multiple Grammy and ARIA awards and nominations.
