Learn Logic Pro at Australia's finest recording studios
Studios 301 is on of only a few Apple Authorised Training Centres in Australia, with courses taught in our Main Recording studios, frequently used by the likes of Lady Gaga, Kanye West, Arcade Fire, The Herd, Living End and Sneaky Sound System. The studios are spacious, creative, acoustically pristine, and contains the best equipment available, while the courses focus on real-world, as-the-pro's-do-it techniques, ensuring you leave armed with essential knowledge of music production.

This three-day hands-on course introduces students to the primary features and basic user interface of Logic Pro. Students learn how to generate a customized audio and MIDI configuration that will seamlessly integrate with their own personal production studio. Students also create their own song using Logic Pro's comprehensive array of software instruments, Apple Loops and DSP effects. In-depth lessons will cover MIDI and audio recording, streamlined editing and arrangement techniques, user defined key commands, automation, scoring to picture and surround mixing. A special troubleshooting section helps students to set up and optimize a Logic system effectively.
Who Should Attend
This class is designed for those who want to learn music production and composition using Logic Pro or Logic Express and who prefer hands-on and interactive instruction to best explore its functionality.

- Basic knowledge of audio terminology is recommended
About the Trainer: Anthony Garvin
Anthony is both the manager of Studios 301 Australia, and Apple Australia's "Mentor Trainer" – working for Apple as the trainer who trains all other certified trainers to teach Logic Pro. He is an experienced and creative user of Logic, having used it professionally to record and mix bands, compose for TV and advertising, remix for artists such as Sneaky Sound System, Wolf & Cub and Sparkadia, and sound design for the Australian Chamber Orchestra. Anthony's passion is mixing records and using synthesisers, and as an experienced trainer he enjoys sharing this knowledge and experience with both fellow and new users of Logic.
About The Facilities
The Logic 101 course is taught in Studio 2, which houses a 72 channel SSL 9000K series mixing console, widely regarded as the best console ever made. The room also contains classic outboard from Urei, Neve, GML, Eventide plus Australia's only stereo Fairchild valve compressor. Each participant is provided with an Apple computer to work through the course with, patched into the console, outboard and massive Genelec Main speakers. The certification exam is based on the content taught in the Logic 101 course, and once passing the exam, you will be recognised as an Apple Certified Pro. Certification is Apple's acknowledgement that you can use Logic Pro at a professional level, and enables you to publish your credentials at apple.com and use the "Apple Certified Pro" logo.
