301 Mastering are able to accept the following formats to master from:

• AIFF or WAV Data Files
• 16 or 24bit only
• 44.1, 48, 96 or 192kHz
• Left & right split mono files (not interleaved).
• Provided on CD-R, DVD-R or Mac compatible hard drive

o 301 Mastering offer a high speed secure FTP site for the transfer of files from/to anywhere in the world. We will also be introducing a proprietary system in the coming months.

o ½” or ¼” 2-Track
o DAT (16bit only)
o Audio CD-R (not recommended due to potential playback errors)

301 Mastering are also able to work with stem mixes allowing us to mix or rebalance the individual mix channels for example drums, bass, guitars, vocals etc via a Neve Mixer.

Please note that working with stem mixes may increse the session time slightly and it is certainly not essential to provide stem mixes.

o Always provide original source to master from. MP3’s and digital download files are not acceptable. It is also not advisable to provide burnt copies made on personal computers as these programs affect the original audio.

Please also ensure all discs supplied are clean and void of scratches and are clearly labeled.
